She experienced a major car accident in 2012, causing her a traumatic brain injury. On her road to recovery, her cousin gifted her some clay, and she began exercising her artistic talent in this new medium. She now primarily sculpts, taking months to create charismatic details in her sculptures, skillfully and without a reference. Once the sculpture is completed, she sends them to a foundry in Vermont, where the piece is cast in bronze with great detail.
