CHARLES FAZZINO (1955-) “That Weekend at the Jersey Shore” Original 3-D Construction
This original 3-D constructed art piece by American pop artist Charles Fazzino (1955-) depicts a highly detailed and colorful rendering of a Jersey Short beach scene. Born the son of a Finnish sculptor, Fazzino utilizes layers of silkscreen serigraphs, all meticulously hand cut, to add dramatic depth and dimensionality to his pop culture-driven pieces. This unique process has led to Fazzino designing and creating artwork for events such as The Grammy Awards, The Super Bowl, and the Daytime Emmy Awards. This unique artwork by Fazzino is matted and framed in polished silver and is signed and numbered 165/200 by the artist along the bottom of the piece.
