Wonderful antique Thomas Edison phonograph has a wooden case with locking lid, featuring a light finish and excellent woodworking details. A black metal pole slides into the mount to suspend the phonograph horn, attaching to the needle that latches down around the musical cylinders. The side crank winds the mechanism that is activated with the flick of a side switch. The cylinder turns against the needle, funneling the sound through the angled horn. Includes additional cylinders. Last copyright date on the metal name plate is 1906.
