Marc Tetro, also known as Marco, was born in rural Canada and studied art at LaSalle College in Montreal, Quebec. He started his career by creating t-shirts. His recognizable style has earned him a multitude of high-profile commissions such as the The World Wildlife Fund and Yellowstone National Park. He has worked for goliath institutions such as Scholastic ,NBC, Macy’s, the Guggenheim Museum, and Disney. In fact, The Walt Disney Company selected to represent Tetro as his licensing agent, and he was the first living artist to ever receive this invitation. Marco is best known for his cartoon-style dogs with strong black lines and bold use of color.

Juris Kakis is a Lativian born contemporary artist. He immigrated to the United States with his painter mother and medical doctor father at age 11. He attempted to continue the generational legacy of doctors that the men in his family had perpetuated, but ended up pursuing his Masters of Fine Arts instead. He went on to teach painting and drawing at Ohio Dominican University for 37 years before retiring as a professor with tenure.

In 1990, he published his first nonfiction book By Way of Deception, which became a New York Times bestseller.
