About the Artist: 
Born in China, 1953, Henry Peeters was formally trained in traditional painting techniques and styles.  His impressionist landscapes showcase a strong sensibility towards color and a classical composition.  His use of vibrant color and subtle texture demonstrates his full utilization of the medium he strives in.  His country scenes in particular exhibit his techniques as well as the stunning interchanging volume of light throughout his works.
