Original lithograph by American artist Leonard Baskin (1922-2000) depicts a portrait of a man created from intricate linework. Dated to 1970, this lithograph features Hebrew characters over the top of the portrait that spell the aforementioned title, “Abraham”. Baskin considered himself to be primarily a sculptor, but was best known for his works on paper. His works were often used to illustrate books, leading to Sylvia Plath dedicating her poem “Sculptor” to him. Framed in metallic, this lithograph is plate signed and dated by Baskin.
