Yoko, a central figure within the Dayton, Ohio art scene, was a prolific artist throughout his lifetime and gifted over 700 paintings to the Dayton Art Institute upon his death in 2012, making his paintings now highly prized for their rarity. This painting is housed in a simple, painted wood frame and has been signed and dated to 1963 in the lower right hand corner of the canvas by the artist.
