This photographic print from the portfolios of Swiss-born American photographer and graphic designer Herbert Matter (1907-1984) depicts a series of sculptures by famed artist Alberto Giacometti (1901-1966). Indicative of Matter’s pioneering usage of the photomontage, the sculptures rest on a white background with a height chart indicating their scaling. This original print is sourced from an edition of 50 and is framed in black, unsigned by the artist.

KENNETH BECKER “Cherub Mosaic” Photograph on Paper
