JEAN-PIERRE WEILL “Venice Autumn” 3D Mixed Media Painting on Glass
SOLD
“Venice Autumn” by Jean-Pierre Weill is an example of vitreography, a style that Weill pioneered. Vitreography is an art form that uses paint on multiple, overlapping panes of glass to form three dimensional scenes. Although not a widely used style, Weill found much success with this technique. Vitreography gives the image a very dynamic presentation, encouraging the scene to be understood and perceived in different ways. #8/250.
This mixed media is one of hundreds of pieces of art that are available at our location in Grandview! Come in today and see the full collection.
