A retired professor of the Columbus College of Art and Design, this uses a variety media and transcends the medium. Foil applique is added to enhance the painted façade. About the Artist:
Sharon Dougherty, a Columbus, Ohio artist, is represented by Art Access Gallery of Bexley, Ohio. Earning a Bachelor's of Science degree, Dougherty continued her education at The Ohio State University obtaining her Master's of Fine Arts. She has held solo exhibitions at The Ohio State University, College of Eastern Utah, LaGrange College, and is included in many private collections. Dougherty's work is held in twenty two corporate collections such as Columbus City Hall to National Art Service in Houston, Texas.
