Original watercolor on paper by American artist Ralph Fanning (1889-1971) depicts a charming European bath scene with a heavy focus on the architectural elements that surround the figures. A distinguished art and architecture historian at The Ohio State University, Fanning’s work drew on influences from the Post-Impressionist movement, and particularly on the work of Alice Schille.
