Cast Iron
Vintage Cast Iron PINOCCHIO Character Bank
Dated vintage, this unique piece of décor is crafted from cast iron and was once used as a character piggy bank, specifically depicting the title character from the 1940 Walt Disney film, Pinocchio. This film served as an adaptation of the children’s novel, The Adventures of Pinocchio by Italian writer Carlo Collodi. Carved by the kindly Gepetto, Pinocchio is created as a wooden marionette puppet, but dreams of becoming a real boy. Heavily distressed, this character bank still bears a strong original resemblance to Pinocchio, and is sure to make for a wonderful conversation piece in any antiques collection.
This character bank is amongst hundreds of pieces of décor that are available at our location in Grandview! Come in today and see the full collection.
