The white car is embellished with chrome on the headlights, grill, and bumper for a retro look, and a cognac brown upholstery covering the seat and arched back. The “trunk” opens for storage space. Antique THOMAS EDISON Phonograph with Horn and Cylinders

Wonderful antique Thomas Edison phonograph has a wooden case with locking lid, featuring a light finish and excellent woodworking details. A black metal pole slides into the mount to suspend the phonograph horn, attaching to the needle that latches down around the musical cylinders. The side crank winds the mechanism that is activated with the flick of a side switch. The cylinder turns against the needle, funneling the sound through the angled horn. Tall, vintage handcrafted Santa is cut from primitive barn wood and is tastefully hand painted. If you’re looking for unique, vintage, rustic, or whimsical Christmas decor, this original piece by Ohio artist Robert Martin (1918-1998) will be perfect for your space! Full of whimsy, Santa winks knowingly as he carries a large sack of toys on over his shoulder. About the Artist: Robert Martin (1918-1998) was born in Cleveland, Ohio and raised by his grandmother. His grandmother, having grown up in the Victorian Era, is responsible for the period's influence on his early works. Martin studied the painting from books of the masters, old and new. He worked from life, enjoying the process and interaction that was created. In the 1980s, he began working from photographs with his series of Victorian Village scenes. An ever-learning student, his work has distinctly different decades reflecting his progress and interests. Persisting was his use of oil on canvas, despite his training in other mediums.
