This liquid emulsion photographic print by Japanese-born, Columbus-based artist Hiroshi Hayakawa (1962-) depicts an exquisitely distressed portrait of a female nude, her back to the viewer in a sensual display of intimacy and confidentiality. A staple of the fine art scene of Columbus and a master of multiple mediums and materials, Hayakawa was educated at the Columbus College of Art and Design, where he now teaches photography while exhibiting his work internationally.
