A truly breathtaking antique example, this late 17th century Dutch wardrobe is solidly constructed from wood, featuring both burled and ebonized trimmings for a luxurious look. The oversized crown molded top is “supported” by applied carved column capitols, with carved flourishes located within panels beneath. The trimmed panels have delightful dimensionality and geometry. Antique Eastlake Victorian Chest Circa 1890

Likely an Eastlake custom ordered piece, this unique chest circa the 1880s-1890s is beautifully decorated. Most notably and unusually, a carved frame surrounding the rounded mirror resembles a hand mirror. Turn spindles elevate shelves surrounding the mirror. A taupe and grey marble top creates a surface beneath the mirror, supported by the lower chest. Burled wood veneers throughout the piece add luxurious swirls with a warm glow. Ornate brass swing pulls adorn the three drawers. The top right drawer is lined with green felt and integrated organizers. A wide drawer sits beneath the two smaller drawers. A lower dual door cabinet contains a single shelf. On caster feet.
