Believed to be sourced from the Meiji Era (1868-1912), this antique bowl has been crafted in the traditional Satsuma style of Japanese pottery and features a textural surface that has been covered with a colorful, thousand flower patterning. This beautiful piece of cultural décor has been trimmed with gold on its edge and is signed “Shimazu” on its underside by the unknown potter.
