Buckboard Style Bench

This bench has been crafted to an intriguing “buckboard” styling, and adds a shapely seating option to the home or porch. Before being supplanted by the automobile, buckboards were distinctly American vehicles that were meant to be pulled by horses or larger animals. The floor of a buckboard was quite mobile and could flex and “buck”, lending the vehicle its name. This bench pays homage to the seating often used by a buckboard driver and is mounted on metal springs that allows for enhanced flexibility and even weight distribution.
