Artist Statement: 

“I have been professionally engaged in scientific pursuits for thirty years and I know all things are made up of an infinite variety of compositional elements that form a whole.  I approach my paintings with this in mind. In this sense the calligraphic paintings are only small portions of the realistic paintings taken from the very depths. My present emphasis is on oil paintings and iconography of image and language”.
