This reproduction print by American artist Edward Fish (1915-2014) depicts a highly abstracted field of color in painterly tones, the print allowing an emphasis of Fish’s highly gestural brushwork. A navy veteran of World War II, Fish was educated at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and regularly showed in several New England galleries throughout the 1960s. Mounted on foamcore in a lithe black frame, this print is signed in plate by Fish.
