Ethiopian Krar Harp

SOLD

This traditional Ethiopian krar harp features six strings over a wood frame and leather skin. Associated with carnal love, the krar was viewed as an instrument of the Devil, and therefore inferior to the begena, which was seen as a sacred instrument that praised God. A gorgeous cultural piece, this harp is best suited for display purposes only.

Many other African art pieces are available, sold separately.

This harp is amongst hundreds of pieces of décor that are available at our location in Grandview! Come in today and see the full collection.
