ITZCHAK TARKAY (1935-2012) “Blue Dress” Serigraph

SOLD

Sizable serigraph by Israeli painter and graphic artist Itzchak Tarkay (1935-2012) depicts a female figure seated in an abstracted armchair against a swirling background of cool, pastel tones. A gentle and calming image, the figure is dressed in a titular blue dress with a flowered turban resting on her golden hair. Influenced by the work of Matisse and Toulouse-Lautrec, Tarkay’s work continues to be popular amongst collectors for its modernist sensibility and pleasing forms and tones. Printed on woven paper, this piece of fine art is framed in gold and signed and numbered 269/350 by Tarkay at the bottom of the print.

This serigraph is amongst hundreds of pieces of art that are available at our location in Grandview! Come in today and see the full collection.
