This limited edition serigraph by Israeli painter and graphic artist Itzchak Tarkay (1935-2012) depicts a group of women conversing in an outdoor setting against a blue sky, ships passing through the Jaffa Port that is visible in the background. Influenced by the work of Matisse and Toulouse-Lautrec, Tarkay’s work continues to be popular and beloved amongst collectors for its modernist sensibility and pleasing forms and tones. This serigraph is framed in gold and signed and numbered 318/350 by Tarkay in pencil along the bottom of the print.
