Circa 1973, a commemorative screen print poster of German artist Josef Albers(1888-1976) most regarded series, Homage to the Square, exhibited at Galerie Melki in Paris, France. The yellow edition of the poster, Albers’ series is about the illusion of shifting perspective using only the square. An artist and instructor of the Bauhaus, Albers’ became influential in his rudimentary use of color and form, later going on to publish the book of color theory, Interaction of Color.
