KARIM RASHID “Aura” Coffee Table Circa 1990
SOLD
Designed by Karim Rashid for Zeritalia in 1900, the Aura coffee table can be configured into approximately 27 different compositions. Three differently shaped pieces of glass, a rectangle, an ellipse, and a figure eight can be placed in opposing or parallel direction to each other. The planes create a layer of color and form. Depending on the light, the table continually changes as colors interplay and juxtapose. This coffee table is found in the permanent collections of both the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
This coffee table is amongst hundreds of pieces of furniture that are available at our showroom in Grandview! Come in today and see the full collection.
