LEONARD BASKIN (1922-2000) Signed Artist Proof Etching “Calla Lily”

SOLD

Original etching by American sculptor and printmaker Leonard Baskin (1922-2000) depicts a lone, spindly calla lily rendered in fine linework on a crème paper. Baskin considered himself to be primarily a sculptor, but was best known for his works on paper. His works were often used to illustrate books, leading to Sylvia Plath dedicating her poem “Sculptor” to him. Housed in a lithe gold frame, this artist proof etching is signed in pencil by Baskin.

This artist proof is amongst hundreds of pieces of art that are available at our location in Grandview! Come in today and see the full collection.
