LEONARD BASKIN (1922-2000) Signed Original Portrait Lithograph

SOLD

Original lithograph by American artist Leonard Baskin (1922-2000) depicts an isolated portrait of a bearded man in a hat with sword-like elements framing the composition of the print. Baskin considered himself to be primarily a sculptor, but was best known for his works on paper. His works were often used to illustrate books, leading to Sylvia Plath dedicating her poem “Sculptor” to him. Housed in a lithe gold frame, this lithograph is signed in pencil by Baskin in the lower left hand corner of the print.

This lithograph is amongst hundreds of pieces of art that are available at our location in Grandview! Come in today and see the full collection.
