This wide, original mixed media on paper by American artist Mary Todd Beam (1931-2002) depicts a cacophony of abstract patterning rendered in bright colors. A renowned workshop educator and lecturer, Beam employs a range of drawing and painting techniques to compose her unique images, from spatters and thick brushstrokes to subtle staining. This original piece of mixed media art is housed in a wooden framing and has been signed and dated to 1992 by the artist along the bottom corner of the paper.
