Original oil on canvas by Texas-based artist Michelle Y Williams presents an early painting titled “Raw Abstraction”. Depicting three abstract fields of color in taupe, umber, and translucent rust, Williams uses glazes of paint that react with one another to create moody textures and washes of color.
