Limited edition lithograph by British illustrator Ralph Steadman (1936-) depicts a scene from Hunter S. Thompson’s (1937-2005) novel “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas”. In this lithograph, Steadman captures the madness and havoc that Raoul Duke and Dr. Gonzo wreaks upon the unfortunate motorists of Interstate 15, with Duke’s thought bubble of, “Bad craziness!” summing up the mood of this wild image. Noted for his lurid, gestural cartoons, Steadman’s friendship and collaboration with Thompson cemented his work as an important illustrator whose work remains enduringly popular to contemporary audiences. Housed in a sleek black frame, this limited edition print is signed and numbered 414/700 by the infamous artist along the bottom of the print.
This lithograph is amongst hundreds of pieces of art that are available at our location in Grandview! Come in today and see the full collection.
