This original oil on canvas painting by Ohio artist Robert Brubaker (1921-2011) is beautifully and masterfully rendered to depict a quaint still life arrangement complete with ripe apples and a lone ceramic jug. A local artist and teacher who served in World War II, Brubaker exhibited regularly and was heavily involved with the Greenville, Ohio Art Guild, where he conducted painting and drawing classes. This original painting is housed in a simple wood framing and has been signed by the artist in the lower left hand corner of the canvas.
