Original watercolor on paper by American artist Ronald Slayton (1910-1992) depicts two majestic trees against a sky of blue, a small hill or boulder interjecting itself into the center of the composition. Slayton was a respected artist and crafts administrator in Vermont and often showed an intense appreciation for the medium of watercolor, with subjects ranging from beautiful landscapes to nuclear warfare. Framed in black, this original watercolor is signed by the artist in the lower left hand corner of the paper.
