Set of 12 ANDY WARHOL “Cars” Limited Edition Mercedes Benz Calendar Set Circa 1989

SOLD

Thought to be the last project Andy Warhol worked on before his untimely death in 1987, this “Cars” collection was posthumously released as a calendar by Mercedes-Benz. Mercedes-Benz had commissioned Warhol to recreate their iconic cars over their history in his famous style. The project was not fully completed, but provided enough source material for this calendar. It was initially debuted in Tuebingen, West Germany in 1988, and went on to exhibition to Japan and Europe before becoming a part of the Daimler-Benz art collection at the Stuttgart headquarters.

This set of 12 is framed using high quality materials to preserve this limited edition set.

This set is just one of hundreds of pieces of art that are available at our location in Grandview! Come in today and see the full collection
