Dressed in shades of red, white, black, and green, the usually cheerful figure is downcast and frowns at his scepter, which is crafted to represent the jester’s visage in happier circumstances. Housed in a rustic wood frame, this painting is signed “Rodriguez” and dated to 1960 just underneath the jester’s feet by the unknown artist.
