Originally designed in 1985 by Aldo Cibic (1955-), this Sophia writing desk cuts a highly postmodern design exemplary of Memphis Milano design. Founded by Ettore Sottsass, the Memphis Group was active only from 1980 to 1987, making this stylish desk a rare find. This desk is crafted from lacquered wood and covered in decorative laminate for a natural wood essence. Signed on the underside of the desk, this fabulous piece includes a single drawer, with a lift top allowing for stationary storage.
