Etching by early 20th century British artist James Alphege Brewer (1881-1946) depicts the Rheims Cathedral in France. Titled, “The Rose Window”, this etching displays masterful etching work by Brewer, who was a well-known producer of color etchings and depicted English and European cathedrals prolifically throughout his career. Housed in a decorative, antiqued frame, this original etching is signed and titled at the bottom of the print by the artist.
