About the Artist:
Michel Delacroix (1933-) is a Parisian artist who paints dreamy scenes of a poetic past version of Paris. A renowned painter of the “naif” or “naive” styling, Delacroix’s regular subject matter centers around the city of Paris; specifically the Paris of the 1940s. In the U.S. alone, Delacroix’s work has been showcased in over 300 exhibitions and in 1994, he was named an Official Artist of the Olympic Committee, furthering his already-prestigious career.
