Dated to 1897, this antique calling card case from the Henry Charles Freeman Limited Company has a fanciful design and is decorated throughout with scrolling vine details; a portrait of a horse peeking out from a small vignette on the case’s front. Antique Ornate Lyre Wall Sconce with Crystal Dome
Traditional and delightfully ornate, this wall sconce has a very unusual composition. This early 1900s piece has a metal construction. The form of a lyre is suspended by a metal rope from a wall medallion with finial. Olive branches, tassels, and slivers of red glass decorate the piece. A crystal dome houses a single bulb, activated by a pull chain. This antique piece has been recently rewired and has a standard plug.
