A.J. SCOTTE (1867-1925) Sculptural French Lamp

This sculptural lamp by French artist A.J. Scotte (1867-1925) depicts a young female figure clad in a long robe, the light of the lamp held in a large torch she holds. Dated to the early 1900s, this antique lamp holds a single bulb against a wavy glass shade and exhibits great detail. Denoted with a relief of the original foundry seal on the squared base of the lamp.
