An original oil painting from German-American artist Alfred Zwiebel(1914-2005). Having a strong affinity for Impressionism, unlike his peers, Zwiebel strikes a balance between Expressionism and his influences, with strong, thick, coated brush strokes. Using a very muted palette, makes this landscape an uncommon sight from his usual production. Housed in a distressed, and striking frame which mimics the texture of the artwork. This painting is signed on the lower right hand corner and dated 1986 on the reverse.
