Original oil on canvas painting by Columbus-based painter Amandda Leigh Tirey depicts a distressed, weathered field of white, its composition disrupted by slender, abstract forms in orange and ghostly blue patterns. Educated at The Ohio State University, Leigh’s work seeks to evoke fluid, alien forms from far off galaxies, their kinetic and succulent designs never constrained by the edges of the canvas. Mounted on the original canvas stretcher bars, this painting is signed and dated to 1999 en verso by the artist.
