Antique GAVEAU OF PARIS Baby Grand Piano with Walnut Case

SOLD

Dated to the early 1920s, this baby grand piano by Gaveau of Paris offers a rare piece of musical history to add to the living or music room. Gaveau of Paris was established in Paris in 1847 by Joseph Gabriel Gaveau and was one of the three largest piano makers in France, with pianos still being produced under the Gaveau name to this day. Crafted with a walnut case, this piano is sold as-is and has been recently tuned, adding to its appeal as a still-functional piece of musical instrumentation for the serious pianist or collector. Mounted on casters for ease of movement, this piano includes a matching bench that rests on rounded legs with delicately carved details. A pierced brass plaque on the interior of the case displays the serial number of 68866. A rare and truly exquisite find.

This baby grand piano is amongst hundreds of pieces of decorative furniture that are available at our location in Grandview! Come in today and see the full collection.
