Antique Pair of DURAND Art Glass Mantle Lamps
SOLD
These antique mantle lamps by Durand Art Glass are dated from the 1920s to the 1930s and have been crafted with a pulled feather technique that exudes grand, antiquated appeal. Mounted on brass bases that feature floral accents, these lamps feature iridescent gold glass shades that have been imbued with wispy, feathered accents of cane glass, their unique designs created by winding the canes around the body of each shade while still molten. These lamps each accommodate a single bulb and offer rare pieces of antique lighting, with Durand glass having only been produced between 1924 and 1931 and prized by collectors for its beauty and styling.
This pair of candlesticks is amongst hundreds of pieces of lighting that are available at our location in Columbus, Ohio! Come in today and see the full collection.
