Lithograph by American artist and illustrator Clarence Underwood (1871-1929) depicts a classic female figure, sharply dressed, holding a handsome dog on a taut leash against an unembellished background. Underwood was an illustrator known for his decadent portraits of high society and landscapes and designed over 40 covers for the Saturday Evening Post between 1903 and 1926. This charming print is framed in gold and signed in plate by the artist in the lower left hand corner of the paper.
This lithograph is amongst hundreds of pieces of art that are available at our location in Grandview! Come in today and see the full collection.
