Small original oil painting on canvas by Indiana-born painter Dan Woodson (1945-) depicts a heavily wooded landscape next to a body of water, colors mixing on top of one another to create an image of great depth and impressionistic sensibility. Woodson began painting in 1994 at middle age, yet his work shows an incredible sense of tact with mature brushstrokes and color management. Framed in heavily distressed gold, this original painting is signed by the artist in the lower left hand corner of the canvas.
