Limited edition seriolithograph by French artist Emile Bellet (1941-) depicts a female figure in a red dress against a fiery background, roses clutched in her hand. A self-taught artist, Bellet models himself after the Fauvist or “wild beast” movement of art popularized by Henri Matisse, as evidenced by his usage of non-authentic, vivid color. Framed in a gold, this limited edition print is signed and numbered 3/450 by the artist along the bottom of the paper. Certificate of authenticity on file.
