Original oil landscape painting by Columbus-based artist Helen Copeland (1930-2019) depicts a monochromatic landscape with a barren treeline, suggesting a scene of late fall or early winter. Born in Pittsburgh and educated at Yale School of Art, Copeland’s undulating brush work builds to a crescendo of impasto paint, exhibiting why she was such a treasured artist amongst the Ohio art scene. Framed in rustic gold, this painting is signed and dated by Copeland in the lower right hand corner of the canvas.

Original oil painting by early 20th century British painter John Wiver depicts a serene, creekside landscape as a lone figure saunters down the dirt pathway away from the water. A painting very typical of a bygone romanticist sensibility once commonly found in European art, Wiver imbues this landscape with vivid trees and verdure, the sky above is emotive and dramatic. Signed by the artist in the bottom left hand corner of the painting and framed in gold.
