Original oil painting depicts a landscape of large ruins, laden seaside against a clearing sky. Harkening back to European interest in the classical Greco-Roman forms, the ruins have been carefully rendered, overtaken by vegetation from years of abandonment. This painting is framed in gold and is signed illegibly at the bottom of the piece.
