JOETTA MAUE Diptych Monoprint Lithograph

This diptych by American artist Joetta Maue consists of two separate monoprint lithographs and depicts abstract compositions in washy blue ink that subtly allude to bodies or figural elements. Maue, a multi-faceted artist, pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts at The Ohio State University before completing her Masters program at the University of Massachusetts and now exhibits in galleries and museums both nationally and internationally. Likely an early work by Maue, these original monoprints are housed in simple, metallic gold frames and are signed, titled, and dated by the artist along the bottoms of each print.
