Pair of Cloisonné Vases

These vases are each accented with a traditional cloisonné technique to offer gorgeous pieces of décor to the tabletop or shelved collection. An ancient technique used for decorating metal vessels, cloisonné utilizes enamel, glass, and gemstone materials that are first attached to the vessel and held in place with thin strips of metal or wire. The wire is then bent or hammered into a desired pattern, creating unique designs that remain visible within the finished piece. Measuring at 16-inches tall, these particular vases are decorated by beautiful floral motifs on a background of rust with delicate patterning of gold visible throughout to resolve a fetching addition to the traditional décor arrangement.
