Fabricated out of undulating ribbons of multi-tone metals, this sculpture hangs neatly on a wall and adds postmodern aesthetic to the art collection. Founded in 1963 by Curtis Freiler (1910-2013) and Jerry Fels (1917-2007) under the nom de plume “Curtis Jeré”, the goal of this metalworking company was to provide gallery quality art to a mass audience. Sold and resold over the years, the company still produces sculptures and recently began reintroducing popular mid-century modern designs from past catalogs. This sculpture is signed and dated “C. Jeré 1992” en verso on the sculpture by the artists.

Art glass vase by American artist Brent Kee Young (1946-) exhibits Young’s masterful skill acquired as professor emeritus at the Cleveland Institute of Art.
